Bank House is your first site in the North East, please can you tell us a bit about Cubo?

Cubo was launched in 2020 and is now the UK’s fastest growing provider of bespoke, high-end flex office and co-working space, with 10 sites across the UK.

Over the past four years, the name Cubo has become synonymous with workplace innovation and desirability. Cubo has become future of work life, with spaces designed to create comfortable environments in which members can interact socially and network professionally with each other.

We have ambitious plans for new workspaces in exciting locations, with a new site in Glasgow and centres in a series of other key cities set to come on-stream in 2024.

Following your launch in December, what is Cubo offering at Bank House?

Cubo Newcastle offers 20,000 sq. ft of high quality workspace on the top two floors of the prestigious Bank House. A range of workspaces are on offer – from hot desking to private offices.

Members enjoy 24/7 secure access, giving them all year-round flexibility in their working lives.

As well as the standard member benefits, members at Cubo in Newcastle have access to shower facilities with lockers, drying rooms and towel stations, bike storage and electric bike charging points. They also enjoy fresh air ventilation, air conditioning and solar control glazing throughout. 

Members can also use the co-working spaces in other Cubo locations across the UK.

How does the location of Bank House compare with other Cubo sites?

Bank House is the first site for Cubo in the North East and is an example our commitment to establishing workspaces that deliver grade A accommodation in areas that would otherwise not be accessible to many of our members.

Like our other workspaces, Cubo Newcastle is located in the heart of the city centre – we are particularly excited about the Pilgrim Street redevelopment and the creation of the new business and leisure sector.

From your experience so far, what do your customers like most about Bank House?

They also love being based in such a high profile city centre location and are looking forward to all developments planned for the area, including. the new five-star hotel, new public square and food and beverage quarter.

 Do you have special offers or promotions that you can tell us about?

We offer a range of flexible membership packages, including hot desking, designated desks, and private offices. We are currently offering a discount on hot desk memberships if they sign up for 12 months (usually they are rolling monthly contracts) and will do deals on longer term commitments on private offices.

Community, connectivity and collaboration is very important to us at Cubo therefore we offer free networking events weekly at all our sites for our members. All our members also have 24/7 access to all our Cubo locations enabling them to work from anywhere.
