Welcome to Bank House Lisa. Please can you tell us a little bit about Knights and the services you offer in Newcastle.

The beauty of our one team culture is that here in Newcastle we can draw on the expertise of more than 1,000 professionals nationwide to support businesses and offer premium advisory services for private clients here in the North East.

Working collaboratively, our Newcastle colleagues are able to assemble the right team for any project meaning our clients get access to the specialisms and resource they need.

We are therefore very proud to be able to offer bespoke advice in M&A, corporate finance, real estate, tax, planning, private wealth, EU and competition law, employment, commercial, banking, insolvency and dispute resolution to name but a few of the service lines we excel in locally, regionally and nationally.

After your move to Bank House in March, what has been the impact for you and your team of being based in Newcastle city centre?

It is fantastic to be in the city centre with immediate access to the thriving business community here. We have very much enjoyed inviting clients and other professionals into what must be the best Grade A space in the city. Not to mention being able to pop into the local coffee shops, bars and restaurants to spend time with colleagues and contacts alike.

What do your staff like most about working at Bank House?

Walking into the reception each morning, being greeted by the friendly office hosts and feeling energised by the great space around us is a really positive way to start each day.

The views from our office are unrivalled and are certainly the talk of the Toon!

What sort of feedback have you received from clients?

Clients are wowed by the space we have created and enjoy meeting in our board room with the bird’s eye view of the city. Clients recognise the importance of being together in person and appreciate our ability to bring our full network of professionals to them in such a premium environment.

How do you feel your new offices at Bank House can support Knights in regard to your business goals in Newcastle.

Moving into the leading Grade A space in Newcastle matches our premium offering as the largest regional legal services business in the UK. Having the quality space to meet clients and bring our colleagues together reflects our focus on excellence and our fast paced growth ambition.

Please tell us how you have you fitted out your new space.

The space has been designed to enable collaborative working and the bringing together of colleagues and clients. We have an open plan office space, client meeting rooms, a seminar venue and a lounge where we can relax together and host client and business events.

How are you using your offices at Bank House ?

We believe that as a business we are better together so colleagues work in our offices every day.

What is your headcount currently and will you be recruiting additional staff members in the months ahead?

We have a brilliant team of 24 that has been bolstered by some great additions in recent months – with more to follow. We aim to double our headcount as we establish our presence in the city, attracting the best talent from across the North East.
